the first project of depo designworkshop came to life thanks to the contributions of the Radikal (translated radical) newspaper in 2007.

every september, Istanbul city hosts Istanbul Design Week, one of the biggest exhibitions around the country.
the disposition took place on the historical old Galata Bridge this year which is located in one of the oldest districts of the city.
each young and becoming freelance designer found the oppurtunity to demonstrate their perception of various benches at the lower
level of the bridge. five individual designers from depo designworkshop constructed five different benches for the exposition.
designers used multiple layers of the Radikal newspaper to assemble each bench together and they have called it 'The Radical Designs'.
the visitors were at liberty to sit on the paper benches.
